“Failure is Feedback”

Take a moment to reflect. How do you respond when your child experiences failure?

One of the most powerful statements I use for both myself and my children is, “Failure is feedback.” Instead of seeing setbacks as something negative, I encourage them to view failure as an opportunity for learning and growth.

When they face challenges, I break things down with them: Did you put in enough effort? What could you do differently next time? What did this experience teach you? These questions shift the focus from self-doubt to self-improvement, helping them build resilience and confidence.

Failure isn’t the end; it’s just another step forward. How do you help your child navigate setbacks?
